All praise be to Allah SWT, the Almighty God, for His mercy and blessings that have enabled the Master’s Program in Sociology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Riau, to continuously grow and maintain its commitment to implementing the Three Pillars of Higher Education: education, research, and community service. The Master’s Program in Sociology was established to respond to the increasingly complex dynamics of social change at local, national, and global levels. Through critical theoretical approaches, rigorous methodologies, and research grounded in social realities, we strive to produce graduates with academic, analytical, and practical competencies capable of providing solutions to various societal challenges.

Finally, we extend our sincere gratitude to all parties who have contributed to the development of this program. May the Master’s Program in Sociology at Universitas Riau continue to bring meaningful benefits to the advancement of knowledge and the development of society.
